Utah will issue a Concealed Firearm Permit to Non-Residents.
This Permit is valid in over half of the United States. This is a great benefit for
all law-abiding citizens who frequently travel across country. This "Multi-State" CCW Permit is valid through Reciprocity Agreements or Recognition per State
Laws. Utah is a "Right to Carry" State, you do not need a valid reason, nor do
you have to prove that you need protection. Utah will honor a permit to carry
a concealed firearm issued by another state. Of the states that have formalized reciprocity or recognition with Utah there are some states that will only accept
the firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of Utah. It is the responsibility of all Utah permit holders to know and understand the applicable firearm laws of the states within which they plan to visit or venture.
